Slovenian Wine Regions

Primorjethe term “Primorje” is actually taken from Slovenian terminology “by the sea”. However, a small fraction of this area is truly on the coast and its surrounding north-west and south-west take the advantageous weight of the Mediterranean far-off inland.

Posavjeit is the area where the French culture affected the confined viticulture in the most significant manner when compared with other wine producing areas of Slovenia. However, Posavje is extremely famous for its well liked blended wines.

Podravjeif you had been able to visit this place some thousands of years ago then this place would have been entirely different. You would have been able to witness the gorgeous Alps with deep gorges and elevated peaks.
